Lakeview Baptist Church - Fellowship Hall
Comparable Size and Use of Space

Lakeview CBS-1
College Bible Study - Praise and Worship
Lakeview CBS-2

This space is comparable in size to the proposed worship hall at Auburn Christian Fellowship. The space was constructed recently and contains an adjacent commercial kitchen.

Notice longitudinal use of space. This leaves students sitting in back far from speaker, and less involved in the worship. Greater distraction and decreased intimacy results. If projection screen was oriented on long wall, or allowed to be flexible in location, space could be used latitudinally, and greater student involvement could be achieved.

The church uses this room for fellowships throughout the week, but the primary group to use this space is the college ministry. Students sit on the floor or in chairs for College Bible Study during the midweek. For Sunday School, the students sit in small groups around tables.

The worship team uses the sound system and PowerPoint computer located in the sound booth at the side of the room. The sound equipment is set up for use both latitudinally and longitudinally. The projector, screen, and lights are not.
